Scrap-car buying & auto recycling: Twin Rivers Auto Recycling — We buy vehicles across Niverville, Winnipeg, Pembina Valley, the Interlake and southern Manitoba. Running or not, keys or no keys. Request a pickup quote.
Send the right details in about three minutes. Running or not, keys or no keys, Twin Rivers Auto Recycling reviews the vehicle, contacts you with a price and handles the pickup across Manitoba .
Have a vehicle to sell?
Scan the VIN and add two photos. We'll review the vehicle, come back with a price and arrange the pickup.
If it's done for, we'll take a look.
Most yards want a clean, complete, running car. That's the easy stuff. This business is built around the vehicles other people say no to.
Non-running & no keys
Seized, blown, rusted to the frame, or missing the key it came with. It doesn't need to start, and it doesn't need to roll.
Missing paperwork
A lost ownership document is the usual reason a vehicle sits for years. That part is usually fixable. Ask before you assume it's stuck.
Fleet & commercial
Work trucks, vans, multi-unit lots. If you're clearing a yard we quote the whole thing at once — one trip is easier for everyone.
Farm equipment
Machinery and implements sitting in a treeline since the nineties. Tell us what's there and roughly where it sits.
Four steps. You don't go anywhere.
Tell us what it is
Year, make, model, and roughly what shape it's in. Two minutes on the form, or a phone call if you'd rather talk to a person.
Get a real number
We come back with what we'll pay. We get back to you the same day in most cases.
We come to you
You don't tow it anywhere. We schedule around you and bring the truck to the vehicle. Manitoba law asks us to see photo ID at pickup, so have yours handy.
Paid at pickup
You're paid before the vehicle is loaded. No waiting on something in the mail.
The work, start to finish.
From a dead vehicle sitting where it stopped to an empty patch of grass — this is what it looks like when we come for one. Running or not, keys or no keys, the truck comes to the vehicle and loads it where it sits.
Across Manitoba, town by town.
Based in Niverville. If your town isn't on this list, call anyway — the answer is usually yes.
Two minutes now beats another winter of looking at it.
Fill in what you know. No VIN, not sure of the condition, paperwork gone missing — skip those and we'll work through it with you.
The questions we actually get asked.
How do I transfer ownership in Manitoba?
You sign the Transfer of Ownership Document (the TOD that came with your registration) and you keep your plates. Plates stay with you, not the vehicle. Then you cancel or move your insurance so you're not paying for something you no longer own. Lost it? An Autopac agent can sort it out. Ask and we'll walk you through it.
What if I can't find the ownership paperwork?
Missing paperwork is a problem to solve, not a reason to give up on the vehicle. An Autopac agent can usually replace it, and what else is needed depends on the vehicle and how long you have owned it. Call and ask before you assume it's stuck. One thing that doesn't bend: the vehicle has to be yours to sell. You sign to confirm that when we do the paperwork.
Is pickup really free?
Free on most vehicles. Some situations are exceptions and the list is being confirmed. If there is ever a cost you will hear it before we book — not on pickup day.
How do I get paid?
In most cases you're paid on pickup day, before the vehicle is loaded. We agree how the money reaches you at the same time we agree the price, so there's nothing to sort out on the day.
What do you need from me at pickup, and why?
Twin Rivers Auto Recycling follows Manitoba's Scrap Metal Act, which sets out what a buyer has to record for every vehicle. In your driveway that means four things. You show photo ID and we take a photo of you, both required by law. We write down the vehicle details and how you came to own it. You sign to confirm it is yours to sell. Then you get paid, by the method we agreed when we agreed the price — the rules cap cash, so a vehicle is never paid that way. Those records are stored securely and only the owner can see them. You can read the rules yourself: the Manitoba government's Scrap Metal Act guide (PDF, opens on manitoba.ca).
What happens to my vehicle afterwards?
It gets dismantled and recycled. Anything still good is reused and the rest goes to a metal recycler.
Can you take more than one at a time?
Yes, and it's usually easier. Fleet clear-outs, farm yards and estates are one trip instead of five. Tell us roughly how many and where they sit and we'll quote the lot.
Stop mowing around it.
Tell us what you've got. You'll get a price, and if it works we'll set a pickup day.
